GENERAL TICKETING

Can I still buy a ticket?

Yes, you can still purchase a ticket to FOMO By Night Auckland. Head to bit.ly/FBN19AKL for the last remaining tickets.

VIP TICKETS

By purchasing a VIP ticket you will receive:
- Early access to venue / dancefloor
- Official FOMO By Night lanyard
- Official FOMO By Night poster

Will tickets be available at the gate on the day?

Yes, tickets will be available at the gate on the day unless sold out prior.

Do I have to print out my ticket?

No, tickets can be scanned from your phone.

What happens if I lose my ticket?

Hard copy tickets cannot be replaced if lost, so please treat them like cash.

Tickets purchased online via Ticketmaster will be delivered in the form of a bar-coded print-at-home PDF ticket; or a bar-coded Passbook e-ticket (electronic ticket on mobile device).

We strongly advise you don't buy tickets through unofficial sites such as Viagogo or Trade Me. The bar code on such tickets has often been duplicated many times by unscrupulous vendors, and it will not work when scanned electronically at our doors. At almost every show, we encounter disappointed people who have bought such tickets in good faith, only to find that they have been scammed. Please don't be fooled; buy only through Ticketmaster!

Opening hours of the Spark Arena box office:

On the day tickets are first made available for public purchase

On the day of an event - From 9am

At all other times, the Spark Arena box office is closed.

The nearest Ticketmaster outlet when our box office is closed is Aotea Centre at 50 Mayoral Drive.

The hours of the Aotea Centre box office are:

Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

Saturday to Sunday 10am to 4pm

ENTRY CONDITIONS

AGE & IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

FOMO by Night Auckland is an all ages event.

Floor ticket holders must be 16 years or older. Any attendees 13 years or younger must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or older sibling who is 18 years or older.
You will be required to present a valid ticket to Security to gain access to FOMO By Night Auckland.
Valid ID is only required for purchasers with dance floor tickets.

Accepted ID for purchasers with dance floor tickets to FOMO by Night Auckland will be as follows:
- Valid New Zealand photo Driver’s License or Learner’s Permit;
- Valid Passport;
- Valid HANZ/Hospitality NZ 18+ card

Accepted ID for U18 patrons attending FOMO festival in Melbourne will be as follows:
- School or University ID card.

No refunds will be processed for anyone who is denied entry because they did not bring Accepted ID.

The Conditions of Entry and Ticketing Terms & Conditions apply to everyone attending FOMO by Night Auckland. Promoter reserves the right to evict any persons engaging in illegal activities.

A NOTE ON ALCOHOL
Following are the only accepted forms of ID for the purchase and consumption of alcohol:
- A valid passport
- Valid New Zealand Drivers Licence
- Valid HANZ/Hospitality NZ 18+ card
Alcoholic beverages must not be taken in or out of Spark Arena.
You may not supply alcohol to anyone under 18 on our premises.
Anyone intoxicated will be removed from the premises and will not be re-admitted.

Expired ID cannot be accepted

AT THE FESTIVAL

Spark Arena operates a thorough security regime and enhanced security checks are already in place. Security is monitored at all times to ensure the safety of all our guests.

On a specific event night we ask all customers attending to be aware that there may be extra measures in place. To make things easier please:

  • Check the event page on Spark arena’s website for security information specific to your event
  • Be patient
  • Arrive a little earlier than you may have planned
  • Expect additional security checks
  • Leave all large bags and anything unnecessary at home or in your car. No bags larger than 30cm x 30cm will be allowed into the venue.

Our staff are well trained and observant and they are doing their jobs to the best of their ability. Please show them the respect they deserve, as they carry out their roles.

If you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will be refused entry.

Forget about trying to sneak into the festival – the venue is patrolled by dedicated security guards to deal with any offenders.

Are there ATMs on site?

Yes, there will be ATMs on site and paypass facilities at bars, however we suggest bringing cash as a backup.

What size bag can I bring?   

Leave all large bags and anything unnecessary at home or in your car. No bags larger than 30cm x 30cm will be allowed into the venue.

Is there a cloakroom?

For most shows Spark Arena have a coat check available (contact Spark Arena to check if you are concerned it won't be open). You'll find it inside downstairs at the far left of the building, near Entry B. There will be a small charge for this service, and we have limited space, so get in quick. If you miss out, don't worry, as there's a bit of space underneath seats for jackets and bags. But regardless of where you stash your gear, please don't forget to collect it before you go!

When do the festival gates open?

Gates open at 5.00pm with the event finishing at 11.00pm

What happens if it rains on the day?

FOMO will go ahead in all-weather unless deemed unsafe.

Can I bring my own alcohol into the festival?

Sorry, you can't! Strict licensing laws mean that the only drinks you can have in Spark Arena are ones that are sold through our bars. There is free drinking water available in the upper and lower foyers, and our bar pricing is equivalent to other licensed premises and venues in the local area. We have a small selection of hot food available at most shows, usually including hot chips, pizza slices and hot dogs served fast-food style.

Can I go barefoot?

Shoe wear is necessary - thongs and sandals are fine but we highly recommend enclosed footwear as it is a long day.

Where do I report any lost or found articles?

Found: Please take any found items to the gate or hand into security.  

Lost: If you misplace something please check with gate staff on the day as things will be turned in there. Alternatively, please go to https://www.sparkarena.co.nz/lost-property/ and we will do our very best to help you.

Does FOMO by Night Auckland have disabled access & facilities?

In terms of mobility, we are able to assist with specialised pre-bookable parking, toilets, access doors, seating areas and elevators.

Disabled toilets

Fully accessible toilets are clearly signposted and located throughout the arena on both floors.

Visually impaired guests will find tactile cues and Braille signage throughout the arena to help them and our friendly front of house staff are happy to assist at any time during events.

A hearing assistance system is available for those with hearing impairments. The Telex Sound-Mate comprises an FM radio transmitter base station and 10 portable radio receivers tuned to the FM transmit frequency. Audio from the receivers is heard via a lightweight headset worn by the user. The receivers are available from the Info Booth on the ground floor upon arrival. Please be aware that hookup to the system needs to be prearranged prior to the day of show (ideally at least 24 hours in advance). As always, the best idea is to contact us and let us know you'll require this service once you've purchased your show ticket.

SAFETY & FIRST AID

Patron Safety is our number one priority at FOMO.

Will there be First Aid at the event?

If you or someone near you is feeling unwell at the festival please be proactive and alert our

staff or security.

Can I bring my prescription medication?

Please contact the Spark Arena office in advance for advice on 09 358 1250.

✔ Cash (EFTPOS is available at most facilities but not all)

✔ Portable phone chargers

✔ Personal items such as coats, bags (under 30x30xm), collapsible small umbrellas (no golf umbrellas allowed), so long as they can be carried with you and easily stored under your seat.

✔ Phones, and other such personal devices

✔ Registered Guide Dogs, mobility equipment

PROHIBITED ITEMS
Don't bring

The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to people carrying any of the items listed below.

  • Food and drink, including commercially branded and homemade.
  • Alcohol in any type of container.
  • Bottles (single use plastic bottles are never permitted. For certain events resuable bottles will be permitted - check event details to confirm), cans, and glass containers of any kind.
  • Gang patches or colours.
  • iPads/tablets, and laptops.
  • Firearms, fireworks, flares, and laser lights.
  • Smoking or Vaping.
  • Weapons of any kind, including items such as mace and tasers.
  • Illegal substances.
  • Musical instruments, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters, bicycles, and sporting equipment.
  • Marker pens, spray paint, and tagging equipment.
  • Signage and promotional products.
  • Animals, other than Guide Dogs.
  • Professional-type cameras and other video or audio recording equipment. This may vary from event to event, please refer to the event page for details.
  • Steel-toed boots.
  • Selfie sticks, SLR type-cameras, and hi-res video recorders such as Go-Pros.

What kind of cameras and recording devices can I bring with me?

Small, non-professional type cameras may be brought to events.

Likewise, no audio or film recording equipment, selfie sticks, SLR type-cameras, and hi-res video recorders such as Go-Pros.

ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

Can I submit my band/artist to perform at FOMO by Night Auckland?

Sorry! We’ve hand selected each artist playing this year already and don’t take submissions.
